What is Bad Beats?

Bad Beats is a social bet tracking app. Log your sports bet slips, follow your friends' picks, and see how everyone is doing — in real time, across every game. Bad Beats is not a sportsbook and does not facilitate gambling or wagering of any kind.

How do I log a bet?

Take a photo of your bet slip and Bad Beats reads the teams, lines, odds, and bet type automatically. Supported bet types include spreads, moneylines, totals, parlays, same-game parlays, teasers, props, and futures across 15+ sports.

How does live scoring work?

Bad Beats polls live game data and updates your open bets as games progress. You'll see your spread cover (or miss) in real time and can track parlay legs individually. Push notifications are sent when your bets settle.

How do I add friends?

Go to your account page and use the friend invite link or search for a friend by username. Friend requests are mutual — both users must accept before either can see the other's friend-gated slips.

Can I control who sees my bets?

Yes. Each slip can be set to Private (only you), Friends (accepted friends only), or Public (everyone). You can change the visibility of any slip at any time.

What sports are supported?

NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAAF, NCAAB, Golf, NASCAR, UFC/MMA, Soccer (EPL, MLS, and more). Futures are tracked through the full season and settled automatically.

My bet didn't score correctly — what should I do?

Use the Support option in the app with your username and a description of the slip. We'll look into it and correct it if needed.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Account settings and select Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
